This year the committee have decided to "try" organising a London meetup for paraglider pilots based in and around London that will meet on the 3rd Monday each month in a private room in the Fountains Abbey pub 100 yards from Paddington station. They have kindly offered us use of one of 2 rooms, one which can hold up to 80 people and the other around 20 free of charge. If you are going to come, please let me know on the telegram group or directly, so I can advise the pub which room we need each month.
We have use of their giant screen, so will be able to do talks/presentations without people having to bring kit along.
The first meeting will happen on the 18th February and I will be doing a talk on the BCC and preparation for XC flying (tailored around the Thames Valley sites), after that we will have a mixture of general chats and talks depending on demand.
