Comments :: Arrived with Neil W and demo Nova Ibex about 11.30 am. Windy as expected. After ground handling practice near bottom of the hill I got airborne.....Vertical take-off! Then Neil and I took it in turns having fast and furious fun under this amazing wing. Just before dark we got some speed cruising along the ridge top. Why not give it go, you'll love it. Awaiting your call or email. Mike

Comments :: Sat in a windy car park watching hangies do their thing. Got late, managed to prise myself from a nice warm car and had a fly with Pete, Sarah and someone whose name I have forgotten...Then I got cold and it got dark.

Comments :: Me and Chris Williams scratched around while Ian Pepper looked on whilst waiting for the wind to pick up a couple more miles per hour, as forecast (which it didn't). Ian left, so did the breeze, so we ended with a top to bottom.......

Comments :: After some kite buggy activity, met up with my mid-week flying buddy Mick W ( also available some weekends ) at 3.45. Wind NNW and light! We launched into slowly increasing breeze and headed north. Lift increased as we soared along the ridge and got better and better. Best lift over the road. Landed back near the car park, half an hour after sunset, cold but happy!

Comments :: 3.15pm. A touch too windy (for me anyway) to risk a flight from the top so did some groundhandling and a few short flights at the bottom with another pilot.

Comments :: Met up with Robert Ager at 1:15pm after he decided that the wind was too far off to make Liddington easily flyable. Wind much too strong initially for PG so watched a HG barely making headway. By 2:15pm it had calmed sufficiently to have a go. After a bit of ground handling Robert bravely volunteered to be the weather test pilot and with him happily cruising the ridge I joined him. Plenty of lift, but also turbulent and only just making headway. Shared the skies with some aerobatic model gliders and, as we landed, 2 HGs. 3x10 minute flights and top landing practice. Another grand day out!

Comments :: Met up with my mid-week flying buddy at 2pm on site. Windy! But that's what we expected. Took off at 3pm with wind smack on. Whole of the ridge working well especially over the trees where 2up thermals were kicking off! Half way along the ridge,on the top, a guy was trying to exterminate moles! Sharing lift with kites and buzzards as they played around above the sun drenched gold and brown tree canopies. At 4pm we top landed and high fived after a memorable Autumn flight. Wow! How fortunate we are to fly.

Comments :: After a pointless drive to UWH and then on to Liddington I stop believing in the forecast and dashed down to Milk where it was very grey a little too much north in it but still very flyable, landed to get the tandem out at which point the very light drizzle got heavier and the wind switched to due north so that was the end of that, still a nice half hour or so in the gentle rotor/wave off of Tan.

Comments :: Met up with IanP and MikeL at 10:40 to be greeted by a light, but stayupable wnwerly which we used to full effect. Around lunchtime it had picked up to the extent that most people's launches were exciting and my ground handling ground to a halt. Lots of willing helpers, most complete strangers, gave me gratefully listened-to advice on how to improve. Once the wind had calmed a bit, flew again in silky smooth air. An excellent day out. Thanks to IP for looking after me. I love this sport!

Comments :: Flying again at bloody last! A nice hour or so on Chinnor ridge this afternoon, funny day though as the lift start out nice and smooth then got lumpy broken and weak so had to top land for about half a hour before it picked up again and had another boat around, nothing fantastic but a few hundred feet up and it was flying at least! Roll on some more of that please, just maybe Sunday.

Comments :: A tad too breezy today, even for the HG pilot, though it was good to have a look at the site and have a chat with the other para-hopefuls skulking in the car park. Nice day for a walk though! Left at 1:30pm.

Comments :: Just three of us flying, Bryan R, Mark J, and myself from about 1pm. One and a half hours soaring mainly over tree covered ridge and into northerly bowl. Touched cloudbase a couple of times and needed speedbar to push upwind. Lift surprisingly good in murky conditions. Niceeeeee! No fireworks though!

Comments :: Didn't expect to fly but had gone to view the site with Ian Pepper who showed me round. Stopped in the car for lunch ;Ian left as the weather wasn't exactly appealing to fly in- murky and cloudbase was a bit low. After lunch 5 pilots arrived and as conditions had improved I got my flight there.
