| Comments | :: | got there at about 10am. gusting 8 - 21 mph. hung around for a while. Mark Colman did some ground handling in the top landing field. it felt as though things were dropping but... then gusted through. Hangliders started appearing. went home (via sugar - to strong there too) might get better later on.... |

| Comments | :: | wind was off to the west but had a tad n and s in it at times. gusting / strong thermals kicking through. not the most pleasent of flying. a couple of people got away - Brian Regan got to Ham hill next to combe. I got to Milk hill (along with Mark Jones) which was quite kewl. |

| Comments | :: | A few pilots hung around on the hill all morning until it started working. It was then quite bumpy and thermals weren't well organised. Those going over the back soon landed. |

| Comments | :: | Epic day, but very hard to make the most of. Blue and windy until about 2pm, when five of us climbed out in a massive 3m/s blue thermal to 7200'. Unfortunately I fell below the inversion on the first glide and never got back up - but soon cu were popping and Tim G and Mike C made 130km to Snowdonia! Blue hole around Leominster at 30kish which claimed many gliders. Hottest retrieve ever. |

| Comments | :: | wind dropped to almost flyable conditions about 15:30 - Gerrit took off - then more joined him. I got to hay bluff but landed. then managed to take off and fly back. was strong wind at times. had to loose a fair amount of height before landing :-) |

| Comments | :: | Lovely sky but the wrong hill. Off to the west and unsoarable, although cycles allowed 100' or so at best. Highlight by far was the large band of naked ramblers that turned up for lunch in the hill fort just as we were about to fly down. Lowlight was the dangerous foreign pilot on a ancient porous pink comp wing. |

| Comments | :: | It was hazy but thermic, some Cus off to the south. Sat on MHWH for 1.5 hours on my own. Saw someone on Tan - joined them. About 2pm bumbled about in v thermic air. Suddenly got lifty - sky went blue, got away. Left thermal early to avoid airspace; wrong call, upper winds light. Got near Marlborough then dumped in 30kph easterly! Later, soaring on MHWH. |

| Comments | :: | Week's great flying in Slovenia on a Paravion trip. Lots of XC kms flown on these great sites (Kobala is a 5k top to bottom at worst). Well worth looking at as a holiday destination! |

| Comments | :: | strong winds allowed 'soaring' for most of the day at the west spur of the white horse ridge. i took an early thermal at 11.30 to 2500' but cloudbase was low and spreadout and i only managed an 'a4 shuffle'. back at the hill the lift was broken and it gradually blew out leading to some technical conditions, everybody bottom-landing safely. hangies got the best of the day flying the whole white horse ridge later on... |

| Comments | :: | Managed to rush out and beat the wind this morning, about 10 mins above Bald Hill (GAP site)hoping to get away in a reasonable looking sky for a short XC back to Stokenchurch but it was strong and rough with only broken lift so called it a day in increasing wind. short flight but I love stealing a flight on otherwise blown out days. |

| Comments | :: | Arrived at 1600 after some pathfinding. Warm and slightly hazy. Got about 1.5 hours of bumbling about in medium wind. Some thermals coming through, esp. from field out in front: swallows are great guides. Great to get some boat-around airtime. |

| Comments: | Test flight after having some motor maintenance. 10 minute hedge hop after 4 or 5 blown launch attempts. Very hot, no wind but it seemed like a NW if that makes sense. I could only inflate the glider when facing NW despite the windsock in the next field showing a SE. Good fun though and at least my motor is back in action. | |
