Looks like the weather may well be reasonable this weekend with the chance of a bit of rain, but this should not spoil things too much.

The problem is the direction, basically east for both days, a little bit lighter on Saturday than Sunday.

TVHGC - has nothing for East.

Pandy - SHUT for lambing.

Blorenge - Will take an east but is a bit shallow in this direction but should be OK as it is a high site.

Malverns - You need to be CP + 15hrs and have a helmet sticker from the Malvern Club

Mercury - If you live to the east of the TVHGC region this is probably a reasonable bet.
If there is no bottom landing available this site reverts to CP + 10hrs, not sure if there is a way of checking this beforehand? ( select "read more" for more info)

Check the actual wind direction on the day and make your choice from there.

Cheers

Updates from skysurfers:

IMPORTANT
Mercury  bottom landing options

the two fields in front of the hill are planted with Oilseed rape so are curently 3 to 4 feet high so are NOT a  landing option except in an absolute emergency
The usual option in this case is either home field which is across the road next to the farm and a long glide even for hang gliders and probably too far to reach for paragliders unless you have height above the ridge
OR the track between the two fields in front of the ridge but this does slope away Please check the landing options before flying

There is also an agreement to fly the south end of the ridge with the modelers flying the central area as marked on the fence line.
Please respect this and maintain at least 200ft when transiting their space

The site is likely to be very busy this weekend so please avoid upsetting the farmer or the modelers

Sea breeze often spoils the day
