As usual over the winter the club will be providing some assistance to help you revise for your Pilot, Advance Pilot or Pilot (powered) exams followed by an exam session. Before sitting the exam we suggest will you complete all your Pilot Tasks, so if you haven't got things signed off yet grab a coach on the hill. The intention is to run two of the lectures on normal club social meeting nights at 7.30pm at the Swan Inn in Inkpen (nr Hungerford) as these may be of interest to other club members. The third lecture will be held on the Wednesday in between these two and the exam evening will follow on two weeks later. For the two evenings not on club nights the venue will be my house just off J13 of the M4. Can anyone who is interested in taking the exam please let me know so that I can order you papers from the BHPA. I will need your name and BHPA numbers for this and I also need to know if it is P, AP or PP (powered)? I will in turn I can organise some further support on the theory prior to the exam. For those studying for their P, AP or PP exams, Graham Taylor’s website has been resurrected at www.pilotnotes.me.uk and contains online versions of his notes, downloadable PDFs of the notes and downloadable PDFs of the presentations. Please be aware though that the Airlaw has changed since these were written especially the Low Flying Rules (see CAP 393). Time to get studying while the weathers bad This year we are changing the approach and you can now sit your exam at any point throughout the year just let me know in advance and I can order your paper and agree a date to sit the exam. Note the lectures and exam are free to members of the club. If your not a member it's easy to join by clicking on the link on the front (home) page of the site.
